Yes, it will drive the five Living room speakers (L, R, Center, Surround L, Surround R) and the other two can either play an independent source (zone 2) or the same source as the living room. Also will drive a subwoofer. (I moved into a house w/four speakers in the LR and two pool speakers.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have 7 speakers; 5 in family room and two outside. We are able to play on all at same time or separately using the zone 2. Had quite a bit of difficulty on install...even with Geek Squad...finally got it to work the way it was intended.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your 5 speakers should work but you can still add a subwoofer. The manual has a chart with the speaker configurations and the specific setting that will play your configuration. I would cite the page but I'm currently not home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a 7 channel, so it can support 7 speakers. I've 7 speakers (2 ceiling speakers for surround, 3 front/center speakers, 2 patio speakers for zone 2). Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without knowing how much power each speaker requires, it is not possible to answer this question. This unit provides 165W to each channel.
