Can a phono with a preamp be connected ? null

YES - There is one assignable set of L/R (red / white) RCA plug audio inputs (AS-CD/CD) + two assignable L/R RCA plug audio inputs (Video 1, SAT/CATV) which also have a video (yellow) input. As long as the similarly labeled HDMI input is not used - you can plug the standard RCA plug output of your pre-amp will into one of these L/R audio inputs. I would use the AS-CD/CD interface.
