“Trying to connect Sony STR DN1080 to an AV projector (yamaha lpx-510) using HDMI output B. Home speakers connected and DVD used as input. Sound cones out fine but no video. After much flickering projector says not supported. What is wrong?”

Do you have a device plugged into the main HDMI out? If not, try using that port. If you have something already plugged in there, go into your HDMI settings on the receiver. Try setting HDMI B to “main” and then use the remote to change outputs by hitting the HDMI OUT button.
