“Does this receiver still have issues with DTS:X on the upfiring speakers in an atmost setup if setup for 5.1.2? I heard you would need to change it to FH for that to work. Hoping it has been fixed via firmware update.”

I am using dts x on Xbox one with no problem. I can switch to atmos with no problems.

This did not work. The unit was returned for a replacement. The replacement worked for two weeks and then would not relay video. I have returned it for another brand. Disappointed in the Sony amplifier.
