“Two questions: What are some recommended speakers? What is "zone 2" for?”

I have owned Sony, pioneer, and Klipsch speakers.......Klipsch speakers have been the best sounding ones. Zone 2 is if you have another source you want to connect to using this receiver. I have zone 2 as my outdoor speakers that are powered by a second receiver I have. This allows me to play what’s on my primary receiver like my Apple TV or cable onto my outdoor speakers while the primary receiver is playing audio from my fire stick in my living room.
