You can enjoy playing back audio content in high-quality audio from a computer or network HDD, or iPhone/iPad/iPod or other smartphone or tablet connected to your home network either wired or wirelessly. - Answer Hi Jake, Yes, you can use 5.1.2-channel using top middle speakers. For connection, see page 23 from this link below. Take note that the ZONE 2 component output jacks on the Audio/Video (A/V) receiver will output analog video signals only. - Answer Hi ER, Thank you for the interest! We recommend connecting speakers with a nominal impedance of 6 ohms to 16 ohms. We also recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. These are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an Audio/Video (A/V) receiver. QuestionAs an HDMI hub (I'm fairly sold on the audio) would I be able to pass through the variable refresh signal allowed by HDMI 2.1 (so a 4K video at 120 hz or a signal from a PS5 or XBOX series X)

- Answer As far as I can tell from the manual this receiver only allows a 60hz pass through. HDMI 2.1 should allow 4k 120hz, but according to page 62 this receiver does not. https://docs.sony.com/release//Manual_4686524141.pdf
