Yes, it works as long as you connect it through the HDMI ARC. I just connected mine yesterday. Directv remote controls the soundbar’s volume.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We bought the X850F and sound bar at the same time, I’m not sure about the Dirwcr TV remote, but the sound bar works with the TV remote also. We put the sound bar remote up in the drawer and operate all of our systems just through the main tv remote. It works perfect for us and we love it. :)
