• HDMI was the best way to go. However, regarding this product, my subwoofer became inoperable after only three months of minimal use. If you would have not already purchased, I would not have recommended purchasing the product. I hope you purchased the Geek Squad extended warranty.

• Optic cable is preferred over HDMI cable, if your television and sound bar have an optic port use it instead of HDMI cableing

• HDMI will deliver great sound, however the best available is optical. The cable is included.
