“Can I control this sound bar with DirectTV/Suddenlink/DishNetwork type satellite remote?”

• If you configure your TV settings correctly, the volume up and down should work fine. All other Sound Bar controls are done with remote but once they are set, they return each time the TV is turned on. If problems persist, contact the nice technicians at Sony Support online and they will help you.

• DirecTV does not yet have codes for their remote to work. You will have to use the tv remote. Not sure about Dish

• I have direct tv and their remote will not control the sound bar

• Yes. I have directv and it automatically recognized that remote
