“Can I connect a soundbar to the monitor via one of the HDMI ports (like a TV with eARC)? I heard the monitor speakers are not very good, wanted to know if this is an option if I also don't like their sound.”

• No you can not hook up a sound bar through hdmi but the monitor has and audio out port via inline cable like a headphone jack

• They are definitely not good, barely audible. Yes, if the soundbar uses HDMI, it should be fine. The eARC should be on the sound system's behalf.
