• The cheaper one sel35f18 is made for the crop sensor and will not work on full frame. Also this one sel35f18f has af/mf button and a programable function button.

• I assume you are referring to the lens that costs $429.00 the Sony - 35mm f/1.8 Prime Lens for Most NEX E-Mount Cameras - Black Model: SEL35F18 - that less expensive version are for cameras such as the a6000. The $749.00 lens is for full-frame cameras such as the a7iii.
