• You have to have your (ipod, ipod, etc) on Bluetooth then press the Bluetooth button (holding it down for approximately 10 seconds)on your Sony product and the screen will let you know when it is synced.

• For my Android tablet I went into settings and made my it discoverable and then searched for bluetooth devices (this searches for 2 minutes), then I pressed the Bluetooth button on the speaker. After about 5 - 10 seconds the connection was made.

• Once you have bluetooth available on your device, hit the pair button on the Sony, your device will find it and pair with it. I have not had a problem at all with mine connecting to my pc, my cell phone, etc.
