It is VERY easy to watch Netlfix, amazon, hulu plus and other Apps on this TV. The clarity is so nice on this TV. I love it. There is actually a Netflix button on the Tv Remote so just a push of a button and you are watching netflix. You just have to sign into your accounts on Amazon instant video, Netflix and Pandora, Hulu plus etc. Great TV :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned a samsung 51 inch 3d tv from a 3 years ago and I liked its interface more than sony. I have the the sony 4k tv now and I like how easy it is to use, but I found samsung to be more user friendly and attractive to look it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know what the hub for a samsung model is like, but there is a "Home" button, which will switch you to a dashboard where you can select the Android TV app(like Youtube, Hulu, netflix) as well as the other HDMI inputs. (Is this the hub you are asking about?) Switching to these apps are simple and straightforward.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used a slightly older Samsung (about 1 to 2 years old at this point.) The Samsung webapps are way too slow, and seem awkward to use. But it is the slowness that really bothers me. I am not sure if this is improved in later years. The Best Buy salesman was telling me that some TVs have duel to quad core processors, but I am not sure how accurate that information was. If you look at the Samsung in person, see if you can "click around" the Samsung to see if it is slow to load. The Sony I have to say is phenomenal with their webapps. I didn't buy this TV for that feature, and just think of it as a gimmick. Now that I own the Sony, I use these all the time. I ended up actually getting a subscription to Netflix just because it is so easy and fun to use on the Sony. (and the picture quality is excellent, but the Samsung is probably equivalent in quality.) The Sony does have a hub type functionality as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a smart hub, same as the Samsung model. It's simple to navigate from the home menu, with all the streaming services and other apps all easy to locate. There is also a Netflix button on the remote, one click and it takes you to your Netflix account
