Hi TVConfused, thanks for your inquiry. The X80J doesn't support X-Wide Angle. The TVs with enhanced viewing angle (X-Wide Angle) are the X950H and Z9J series. The recommended distance for watching a 4K TV is 1.5 times the TV's vertical screen size. Please note that the best viewing distance depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend to look away from the TV every now and then, or try watching it at a different viewing angle. I hope this helps. Regards, Erin
