• As for as I know any smart home device like Alexa or other devices are always listening because that there job. That's why I won't use one.

• Sometimes it does. This is a very unreliable television that constantly locks up and buffers quite frequently. I do not have any of these issues with my Samsung, Sharp, or Magnavox televisions. I will say however this television has the best picture I’ve ever seen . I would not buy another one though.

• No the it doesn’t listen to my knowledge, it will only respond when you press the voice control button on the remote.
