Hi Debra, Great News! Yes, the X90J is good for gaming. The X90J supports features specified in the HDMI 2.1 via HDMI inputs 3 & 4 (4K 120/ALLM available at launch) and VRR will be coming via a future firmware update. Also, this TV supports eARC/ARC. With HDMI2.1 you can get a 120fps frame rate on compatible games, so you'll have the advantage in shooting, sports, and high-performance games with the instant on-screen action. You'll also enjoy ultra-smooth gaming with a reduced input lag less than 8.5 ms with 4K/120fps and dedicated Game Mode. You can check the full specifications and features of the XR50X90J from the link below: https://www.sony.com/electronics/televisions/x90j-series/specifications I hope this helps! Jay
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the PS5, but absolutely yes! Just FYI, with only 1 port available, you’ll have to switch HDMI’s if you own both next gen consoles (first world problems). Future planned updates (VRR and ALLM) will improve an already solid gaming TV.
