• No you have to scratch off a layer to reveal the number but it has to be activated for the number to work

• If by right now you mean buy PSN credit digitally then no. You could scratch them off in store, but they're not active till purchase at the register. GameStop and a couple others sell them digital, and email you the code later on... The problem is those emails can take 1-48 hours. For me the email usually takes 4-6 hours to find my inbox
