Will this work on my Sony A6400? null

Yes it will. I use it on my 6400. It's sharp as nobody's business and paired with the 6400's autofocus, you're going to love it. ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND, on the 6400 it's going to act like a 75mm, not a 50mm. I do cafe and food photography and it's an amazing lens for it, but I really have to step away from the coffee cup to get the shot since it's so "zoomed" in. But if you're comfortable getting like 10 feet away from whatever you're shooting, then you'll love it.
