• Hey Richard, Any time you add a "middle device" between the source and destination you risk degrading the quality. If the Channel Master has direct bypass and is able to send the signal exactly as it received it than you should be fine. If it's only capable of outputting 1080p or 4K without HDR then you're going to have a loss in quality.
