• Hi ssnsck, the TV already has built-in speakers, using of sound bar will output the sound from an external speaker instead from the TV speaker. ~Erin

• If you are a sound lover, you should buy it. I bought a Sony sound bar just for movies. But I had found myself watching tv without the sound bar.
