This TV stand is 25 7/8 inches wide.

The stand is shaped like a "U" with the "legs" turned out to provide stability. At it's widest (in the back of the tv) it's nearly 28" wide and at the front 12". The stands extends about 4" in front of the tv, barely noticeable, if at all. It's very sturdy.
