Hi Umpossible, thank you for your question and for choosing the Sony - BRAVIA 8! We understand this can be a bit confusing. The TV does have 4 inputs, but only HDMI ports 3 and 4 support the Full HDMI 2.1 capability, including the 4K/120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).
