Standard mount for 55” TV. Though I was told by some Best Buy salespeople that I would need to replace an old fixed-position wall mount used originally for a 10-year old 50” Samsung TV, the old mount worked perfectly well.

Precautions ˎ Maximum dry wall thickness: 16 mm (21/32 inch). ˎ Ensure that the inner wood stud size is at least 51 mm × 102 mm (2 1/8 inch × 4 1/8 inch) for common or 38 mm × 89 mm (1 1/2 inch × 3 5/8 inch) for nominal. ˎ Keep minimum 406 mm (16 inch) horizontal space between fasteners. Make sure the wall has studs because that is what holds the tv and bracket
