Hi Sonypony, we appreciate your interest in our newest product. Great news! Yes, this unit supports the IMAX enhance feature. You will take full advantage of the Playstation 5 as this TV also supports the features of the HDMI 2.1 standard which are 4K120, eARC, ALLM, and VRR (VRR will be available via future firmware update). Get the most out of next-gen gaming with BRAVIA XR TVs featuring 4K/120fps and BRAVIA Game Mode for increased frame rate and reduced input lag. Hope this helps. Thank you. ~Earl
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this tv (65 inches) today and set up PS5. I was happy with a default setting. Then, I noticed one PS4 game had some stuttering issue. I tried several options and found this “Imax enhancement” mode. This solved the stuttering issue. Besides, picture quality got much better. I was amazed how great it is now. Ghost of Tsushima became a stunning game even though it is already a great game.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about the IMAX enhance feature. However, I do have a PS 5 and in my opinion it takes full advantage of the graphical power of the system. I would point out one thing though, you have to make sure you use an HDMI 2.1 cable in the right slot. A regular 2.0 HDMI cable simply won't give you the output you're looking for. I've played a few different games on this tv so far and it's vastly superior to what I see on other tvs I use for gaming.
