“I have a pair of excellent Bose wired speakers that require an analog plug-in jack like for headphones..They are not compatible with the optic type jack..Does this TV support that kind of audio jack and if so what kind of sound can I expect? Thank You.”

There is a left/right (white/red) audio output on the back of the TV as well as a Headphones jack on the side. Either way, this should handle your speakers.
