“Does the Sony TV compare to equivalent TVs as far as up conversion, picture quality, access to apps”

• The Sony 55" and 65" XBR-X900Es are two of the BEST sets in terms of "performance to price" ratio on the market. Both have great picture quality, up-conversion, connectivity, and 120Hz native refreshing. With the 4K-HDR X-1 Processor, they outshine equivalent HDTVs from Samsung, Vizio, LG (what doesn't?), and Toshiba; IMHO. I would love to see the new 2017 Panasonic models when they get to the states.

• This TV will outperform others due to the processing power itself. Sony rules the market with this. As for conversion, it is excellent even for older 480p shows. Plenty of apps as it is android tv.

• Very good up conversion, Everything goes to 4k. but old tv is watchable. You cant switch between picture quality.
