• The TV comes with its own stand. The stand is probably about 18" in length and more of a sturdy plastic. But the stand fasteners from the plastic base to the set remind you more of metal/steel, so the set is not going to topple. I, too, was surprised by the stand make-up, but my previous 10-yr old Sony had a similar base and TV never toppled, no problems.
