• no the stand does not swivel but it's lightweight so It's not a problem to turn it base and all.

• Just purchased this product and had it installed in my wall. The picture is phenomenal and the remote takes a little getting used to. I do need to purchase a sound bar or Sonos speakers to accompany the purchase.
