Hi, This TV produces rich quality sound with built in speakers for any regular viewing experience. If you want additional Bass and that "WOW" factor, consider any Dolby Atmos Soundbar with SubWoofer and Rear speakers. I bet, you will never like going to theater again :-)

BBY sells both the ZVOX 570 and 670 models, for about $299.00 and $369.00 respectively. They sound great. Whatever you decide to purchase, remember the bottom of the stand measures 10.5" by 20.0" and the screen & stand combined weigh almost 40lbs. Good wishes.

I went with the Sonos Playbase and sub-woofer because my TV stands on a cabinet. Also, Sonos additions like the sub-woofer are easy to do and the room tuning makes to process very easy. Sonos isn't cheap but if you want very good sound with minimum fuss and room intrusion Sonos is the way to go in my opinion. Everything has worked so well that I am considering going from 3.1 sound to 5.1 by adding two Sonos back speakers. Again minimal room intrusion since all they need is power and a WiFi connection.
