• The 900 has amuch brighter HDR range. It also has local dimming. It has better Bluetooth connection to headphones.

• The x900e (2017) has full array back lighting with local dimming and the x850d (2016) is has an edge lighting system. The x900e will give far superior black levels and much better overall image, especially in a dark room! I own one and it's amazing!

• Black levels!! I bought the 850D for $899 on black friday, had to take it back. It had serious light bleed. I bought 900e for $1399 and it looks like oled.
