Hi DeeJay, Thank you for your question. The TV is designed to support a VESA compatible wall-mount bracket that supports 11.81 x 11.81 inches (300 x 300 mm) (W X H) hole pattern and a weight of 33.8 lb (15.3 kg). Please also check the specifications of your wall-mount bracket. IMPORTANT: For product protection and safety reasons, Sony strongly recommends that the installation of your TV on a wall be performed by qualified professionals. Do not attempt to install it yourself. Experience all your favorite content in lifelike 4K HDR picture quality, powered by the 4K Processor X1™. All your HD content is upscaled to near-4K resolution resulting in sharp details and real-world colors. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an electric fold up model bracket and it mounted to it fine. I just don't store it raised up flat against ceiling as the the last TV (Samsung) had the screen fall of after about a year of being in the flat position primarily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As mentioned by the answer from SonyListens, it has a standard VESA hole pattern. Looking at the product image of the rear of the TV, the pattern is considerably lower on the TV than another 55" TV I have. For my bedroom TV stand, I consider that a positive feature as it means the TV will be somewhat higher (a little over 7 inches higher as I estimate the bottom holes are roughly 4.8 inches from the bottom of the TV vs 12 inches for my bedroom TV). I mention this as it might be important for a ceiling mounted bracket. You'll want to make sure the bracket can provide sufficient clearance from the top of the TV based on the distance of the top VESA mount holes from the top of the TV (estimated from the picture to be about 13.4 inches).
