• Yes you can. On the TV, go to Settings and then Remotes and Accessories to pair and connect your smartphone. However only apps that are compatible with Google Cast such as Photos will work. At the top of the app, look for a small square that has 3 curved lines in the bottom left corner and press that. Then press on the video or photos that you want to display on the TV.

• Recently bought it, yes you can cast from your phone (I have iPhone 11 Pro) as long as it’s supported by phone or by app.
