“What is size of box TV comes in and can it be laid on back? I have a relatively small car. It does not have enough room to stand this size TV standing upright. It is wide enough that I might be able to get it into car if I lay it down. Is that alright or does it have to be moved standing up? Also what are box dimensions because I need to know if it will fit in my car. My car is a C-MAX from Ford. I am thinking about getting one of the open box TVs.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Go to the SONY web site and download the manual for the TV. It has all the dimensions listed up front together with the installation guide. The manual probably answers your question about flat or upright moving, but the inside of the box is so well padded with foam spacers, etc. I wouldn't worry about moving it flat. But, if you get an open box TV, be sure all the padding is still there .

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because of the size of the screen, I would highly recommend you not do that. However, if you bring blankets and such to protect it, I would suggest laying it front down and put nothing on top of it, then avoid all pot holes and speed bumps.
