• I don't know what $$, but my opinion is yes this TV is definitely worth it. I personally picked mine up, it all depends on who's delivering the TV, if it's Best Buy then yes.

• No get a better TV for less money. I had this and returned it in less than a week, I ended up with the Vizio E70U-D3. Great TV less money, only down side to this TV is it isn't a traditional Smart TV. Look at it's reviews for more info on that, but the picture is great and that's what mattered to me.
