Hi there, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Volume display can be turned off by turning off BRAVIA Sync control (HDMI-CEC). Go to Settings > Channels and Inputs > External Inputs > BRAVIA Sync Settings > Off. However, this turns off the ability to control devices plugged into the TV with the TV remote. You will need to use the provided remote for the sound product and control the volume separately. I hope this helps.
