Hi DLBellevue, To ensure proper heat ventilation and optimal performance from the up-firing and side-mounted Acoustic Multi-Audio+ speakers on your BRAVIA 9 II, we recommend maintaining a clearance of at least 10 cm (4 inches) around all sides of the television.
