QuestionI JUST BOUGHT A SONY A80CJ FROM COSTCO FOR CHRISTMAS. I AM LOOKING AT A SONY HTA-7000 SOUNDBAR. BASED ON THE LENGTH DIMENTIONS FOR THE HTA-7000 SOUNDBAR. IT WILL '' NOT '' FIT BETWEEN THE TV'S LEGS?

- Answer Dear Stupid, The HTA700 has up firing speakers. For best performance you would not want to obstruct the speaker. This is an expensive sound bar, why hinder it's performance? Wall mount the TV or set the bar ahead of the legs. Now I feel stupid for taking the time to answer this.

QuestionRegarding the Over The Air guide... Why doesn't the guide loop back from the end of the list back to the top like my previous Sony did? and How do I stop the 'ticking" noise when I move up/down in the guide? Thanks

- Answer Hi MarksNewA80J, Thank you for your input on the guide menu. As for sounds for navigation in menus you can disable this under settings/system/sound/toggle on or off. This will disable any sounds in navigating any menus. -Ralph

QuestionI need to connect earphones so that my hearing impaired husband can listen without turning the volume too high for my comfort. Is there a standard earphone jack on this TV? If not, can you tell me what kind of earphones I can buy to connect to it.

- Answer You can connect headphones with Bluetooth.Some soundbars like mine even have Bluetooth wireless connectivity built in. Looks pretty easy but never tried it. Start with getting Bluetooth capable headphones.

QuestionWe are trying to connect ROKU to XR A80J. ROKU connection requires an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2. Which of the four HDMI ports supports HDCP 2.2? Also should I select 30Hz or 60Hz when prompted for the HDMI connection. Your help is appreciated.

- Answer Hi Northfield, Thanks for your inquiry. All 4 HDMI ports of the A80J already support HDCP 2.3. You can connect the device to any of the HDMI ports on the TV. The TV supports both 30 Hz and 60 Hz. Depending on your source device, you can set the HDMI signal format on the TV to either "Standard format" or "Enhanced format" (for 4K120 or HDR). QuestionI just purchased the Sony 65" Bravia XR A80J OLED. The Comcast cable into my house is about 30 years old. Will this older cable work with the TV? I have Verizon internet with a hard wired router. Is it possible that the router may not support the TV?

- Answer We had to upgrade to a 4k capable Dvr box with our cable company to get the benefits of the 4k tv, keep in mind, not all programs are broadcast in 4k.

QuestionI recently bought a 65" X80J that had to be continually unplugged and plugged in order for it to work, plus one other brightness issue. After 4 hours on the phone with BB to try to resolve these issues I gave up and returned it. Are all X80Js like this?

QuestionI was told to this TV supports atmos natively. I don’t have the space for a sound bar or additional stereo. So on the Best Buy website there’s no mention in the specs of this TV supporting Atmos. So will the built-in speakers output Atmos. Thank you
