“I primarily use a sounbar but occasionally prefer theTV sound however whenever I change from "sound system" to "tv audio" the tv switches it back to "sound system" 100% of the time. Is a software update in the works to fix this or should I return the TV?”

Hi Tom023, We regret to hear about what happened. In order to use both the TV speakers and an external device, you can use the optical out to the external system and leave the TV set to TV speakers. Please try again later.Hi Tom, I don’t know, but I would make sure and ask a Geek Squad Agent or someone who deals in Sony TV’s if there’s anything wrong at all before doing anything. It may be something simple in the settings. Check the manual or go through the settings if you’re comfortable with that. TC
