• Buy the Insignia NS-HTMS-1 Universal Swivel Base. It costs around $70 additional. It allows us to put our soundbar below it. It also allows the TV to be raised even higher to better match where your eyes are recommended to see the screen.

• Most definitely. Watch the review of the TV on YouTube by Digital Trends. Just watched it today. The TV sits almost directly on the base. There's zero gap at the bottom.
