Hi Super, Thank you for your inquiry! If the A/V Receiver does not send the 4K Signal to the X90K TV, make sure that all your devices are HDCP 2.2 compliant. To display a 4K signal to this TV from a 4K Blu-ray player that is connected to a receiver, you will need the following: A 4K player that is HDCP2.2 compliant A receiver that is HDCP2.2 compliant and supports passthrough mode Use a High-Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet or a Premium High-Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet that supports 18Gbps Play a 4K content on your Blu-ray player If you connect a 4K Bluray player to a non-4K receiver, the receiver will not able to passthrough the 4K signal to the TV. The TV will only be able to display the 4K signal if it is connected directly to the 4K Bluray player.
