Hi - LED would be a reference to the backlighting for the LCD panel. The backlighting is what makes the LCD panel bright (or not bright). Now there’s different types of LCD displays and different types of LED backlights. This TV is a full array LED backlight which means it has individual zones that it can brighten, dim, or even turn off completely to best display the image. You should be able to connect your soundbar via either the HDMI eARC or Toslink digital optical connection.

You connect this TV to a soundbar via HDMI eARC/ARC, optical connection, or Bluetooth. Make sure to check the specifications of the soundbar. See a vivid, crisp picture while you watch and game, all enhanced by Full Array LED and powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR™️. Sound positioning tweeters, in additional to the TV speakers, elevates the sound so what you hear matches the picture you see. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't answer if it can be both LCD and LED because I really don't know. I would think a salesperson would be better equipped to answer that or you could Goggle it. For the Samsung sound bar used with Sony model XR65X90L TV, I currently use a Samsung sound bar with that exact model TV, and it works fine. I'm pretty sure it's a much older sound bar than what you referenced in your question. Hope this helps.
