Yes, I have DIRECTV and it automatically tunes to that input when it turns on. If you have a game console it automatically switches as well.

Step 1. go to settings. 2.select System 3.select Power and Energy 4.select Power on Behavior 5.select last input used. This will default the TV to the last used input when powered on.
