Hi Cookiek, Congratulations on your new BRAVIA X90L! For the best setup with your HT-Z9F, please connect the HDMI cable to HDMI Input 3, as this port supports the eARC function necessary for your sound system. While the X90L supports the S-Center Sync feature (using the TV as a center speaker), the HT-Z9F model is unfortunately not compatible with this technology. If you are interested in this feature, it is supported by our newer soundbar lineup, including the HT-A3000, HT-A5000, and HT-A7000.
