It took some time to learn how to use the TV. Old TV was very basic. Grandchildren helped me to learn.

It’s exciting that you are upgrading to a Smart TV, and we can certainly clarify how you'll get your local channels on your new K-65XR8B. If you have a Spectrum set-top box, simply connect it to an HDMI port on your Sony TV. You will continue to use the cable box remote to change channels, and the experience will be the same as your previous TV. If you ever decide to drop your Spectrum service in the future, your K-65XR8B has a built-in tuner that can receive over-the-air local channels for free. You would simply need to plug a digital antenna into the ANT/CABLE input on the back of the TV and use the "Tuner" input to scan and access those channels.
