Samsung's warranty isn't worth paying less. The Sony tv's are clearly the best out there. I was amazed at how well this tv looked. The picture quality is like being in a movie theater. We paid 999.99.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To be honest, I only have personal experience with the Sony. However, I did thorough investigation before purchasing. The general consensus is that the Sony is better with sports and the Samsung is better for movies but only in a room with no outside light otherwise you can't tell a difference. I bough this tv for my living room so of course it has plenty of natural light. Unless you plan on using it exclusively for watching 4k movies in a theater room or something like that, I wouldn't spend an extra $800 on a picture you may not be able to tell a difference on anyway. Also, the Sony is said to be superior when viewed at an angle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All of my previous TV's were Samsung. This tv I reviewed and Samsung is a little behind in the quality for 4K. They are also a little higher priced for the same Sony quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony is #1 when it comes to televisions but for an $800 difference I would say not worth it get the Samsung they are great as well & fall right behind Sony in quality. I have both brand televisions & really no big difference at all.
