• The 850 has what is known as the Triluminous Display...I personally bought the 750 because I didn't see $500 difference side by side. Actually, to me, the 750 looked better!

• The 850 is last years model, but it has Sonys Triluminos Display technology. The 750 (2016) does not. While the Triluminos display is very impressive, the 750 holds its own very well. I am pleased with it in my home.
