  • QuestionI saw a review that indicates the tv has 4 hdmi ports but only two are 2.1. The description here indicates all 4 are 2.1. Also, is one of the ports eARC compatible?

    Asked by Jewel.

    • Answer Hi Jewel, That is a great question, and we are happy to clarify the specifications for you. The Sony BRAVIA 7 II features a total of four HDMI ports, but only Ports 3 and 4 are HDMI 2.1 capable (supporting 4K/120Hz, VRR, and ALLM). Ports 1 and 2 are standard HDMI 2.0 ports. Additionally, Port 3 doubles as the dedicated eARC/ARC compatible port for connecting your soundbar or home theater receiver. If having four full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports is a priority for your setup (for example, if you plan to connect multiple next-gen gaming consoles alongside an eARC audio system), we highly recommend checking out the Sony BRAVIA 3 II (Model: K-75XR30M2), which does feature four fully capable HDMI 2.1 ports. We hope you find this information helpful, and thanks for considering Sony! Best regards, Dominick
