“I have 2 deftech tower speakers (with built in sub-woofers) connected to a Marantz receiver and this TV will be part of this set up. No other speakers. Can I use this TV as a center channel with the 2 def tech tower speakers? Please let me know. Thanks.”

This only works with other Sony compatible products. my research reveals this tv not good as a center channel, but the Sony OLED's are way better with the center channel.

This model can be used as a center channel with the compatible Sony audio system, however this model cannot be used as a stand alone center channel. If you would like to use a feature that complements your desired setup, we'd like for you to check the models A90J and Z9J as this models have the capability to use their receiver and speaker setup for center channel mode.
