Unless the 5.1 system has a 4k pass thru you will need to connect the 4k Blu-ray directly to the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not too familiar with the bravia 5.1 but I would assume it will not pass 4k to tv. Usually you would need to upgrade to a 4k compatible reciever. In your case the easiest way would be to plug your 4k bluray directly to your 4k tv by hdmi then run digital optical (spdif) cable out of tv to your sound system for audio (providing it has it).
