“I bought this TV and the power button on the remote doesn’t work. And despite changing the power and screen saver settings, the tv shuts off for “idle” time while we are watching a movie. Anyone else with this problem?”

Make sure nothing is blocking the infrared signal on the front of the TV..also try doing a restart..point the remote at the bottom of the tv press and hold the power for 3 seconds then restart.
